In-mall digital signage platform

Project: Launch of First In-Mall Digital Signage Platform in Egypt

Role: Founder, Marketising (Dubai / Cairo) • Apr 2017 – Jan 2021

As Founder of Marketising, I led the creation and successful launch of Egypt’s first in-mall digital signage platform, in partnership with Al Futtaim Mall. This pioneering initiative transformed traditional retail advertising into an interactive digital experience, introducing advanced digital-out-of-home (DOOH) technologies.

  • Strategic vision & system design: conceived the end-to-end platform from hardware through analytics.
  • Integration of digital media, marketing analytics and retail operations to achieve a 25% increase in branding visibility and lease sales uplift of over 10%.
  • Led cross-functional teams (technology, marketing, retail leasing) and managed stakeholder alignment and change management across traditional retail operations.

Vocational education centre, Industry 4.0 Egypt

Project: Establishing Centres of Competence for Vocational Education & Industrial Digitisation

Role: Business Development Director, DMG MORI • Feb 2021 – Mar 2023

At DMG MORI, I spearheaded a national capacity-building initiative in partnership with Egypt’s Ministry of Education & Technical Education (MoETE). I led the establishment of multiple “Centres of Competence” (CoC) across vocational schools, equipping them with high-tech turning and milling machines aligned with Industry 4.0 digitalisation standards.

  • Designed and executed a public-private partnership model, aligning equipment procurement, curriculum modernisation and teacher/trainer upskilling.
  • Enabled vocational schools to adopt smart manufacturing practices, equipping the next generation of talent for digital industry workflows.
  • Managed stakeholder engagement from government entities, private-sector industry, educational leadership and local communities.

This project demonstrates my strategic leadership in capacity-building — fostering a digitally skilled workforce and the bridge between education and industrial transformation.
